Accessibility Statement
Our commitment
MKY Accounting and Tax Solution wants everyone to be able to use our website, including people with disabilities and people who use assistive technology such as screen readers, magnifiers, voice control or keyboard-only navigation. We treat accessibility as an ongoing responsibility and review the site as it changes.
Standard we follow
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines are the benchmark commonly used to assess website accessibility under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Conformance status: partially conformant. Most of the website meets WCAG 2.2 AA. A small amount of third-party content, listed under Known limitations, is outside our direct control and may not fully conform.
What we have done
- Text and important graphics meet WCAG color-contrast ratios, including text placed over photos.
- Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, with a clearly visible focus outline and a "Skip to main content" link.
- Pages use proper headings, landmarks and lists so screen readers can navigate them.
- Images have text alternatives; decorative images and icons are hidden from screen readers.
- The homepage slideshow has a pause button, can be controlled with arrow keys, and stops automatically when your device is set to reduce motion.
- Links that open in a new tab say so to screen-reader users.
- Text can be enlarged to 200% and pages reflow to a single column on small screens without horizontal scrolling.
- Buttons and links are large enough to tap easily on touch screens.
Accessibility options on this site
Select the accessibility button in the bottom-right corner of any page to adjust the site to your needs. Your choices are saved in your browser for your next visit. You can:
- Content: bigger text, a bigger cursor, tooltips that show button and image descriptions, extra line height, hiding images, and alternative fonts (Atkinson Hyperlegible or OpenDyslexic)
- Colors: inverted colors, brightness, light or dark high contrast, saturation, and color filters for grayscale and red/green or blue/yellow color blindness
- Navigation: a reading line and reading mask that follow your pointer, highlighted links, read-aloud (select any text to hear it), a page-structure view for jumping to headings and page regions, and stopping the slideshow and all animations
These options are a convenience and work alongside the accessibility features built into your browser and operating system, such as zoom, screen readers and color filters. The site is built to work with those tools without the widget.
Compatibility
The site is designed to work with current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari on desktop and mobile, and with common screen readers including VoiceOver, NVDA, JAWS and TalkBack. It relies on HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
Known limitations
- Google Maps embed. The map in the Contact section is provided by Google and may not be fully accessible. Our location and all contact details are also given as text on the page.
- Social media. Our Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp links lead to third-party services whose accessibility we do not control.
How we tested
We assessed the site ourselves using automated testing (axe-core) together with manual checks of keyboard navigation, screen-reader structure, color contrast, text resizing and layout at screen widths from 320 to 1920 pixels.
